      • Finished going over questions from Tuesday on early French settlements.  
      • Went over a note on "Mercantilism."
      • Watch a nine minute video clip on Champlain and the importance of the fur trade in Canada's history.

      • Unit Test #2 (Chapters 5/6)
      History 30
      • Second day to work on their Pre-Confederation Newspaper assignment.
      Law 30
      • Mini-quiz on defenses & parties to an offense.
      • Introduction to sentencing through reviewing the guiding principles behind sentencing in Canada & watching a clip from the Simpson's: Marge in Chains

      • Second last day to work on their Cultural assignments in the library lab.

      • Study period for Unit Test #2 tomorrow.
      History 30
      • First class to work on their Pre-Confederation Newspaper assignment.  This is the biggest assignment of the term so great care and effort is needed.
      Law 30
      • We will continue exploring the concepts of tough vs. gentle justice.
      • Reminder a mini-quiz tomorrow on Legal Defences & Parties to an Offence.
      Psych 20
      • Third work period on their Cultural assignment.

      Tuesday Nov. 23rd

      History 30 (Band)
      • Began going over questions assigned last day (First French Settlements).
      Econ 30
      • Went over a note on "Restricting Competition".  Topics covered include: predatory pricing, cartels, interlocking directorships, horizontal & vertical combinations.
      • Assigned questions 3-6 on pages 127-128.  These are due tomorrow.
      History 30
      • Introduced term assignment that will begin tomorrow.
      • Finished questions exploring the BNA Act started from yesterday.
      Law 30
      • To introduce sentencing we will be watching the documentary "To Kill or To Cure."  This documentary focuses on how Canada is influenced by both the US & Europe in its justice system. 
      Psych 20
      • Day two of their Cultural Assignment.

      • Finished note on the "Spectrum of Markets."
      History 30
      • Handed in Durham Report assignment today.
      • Began BNA Act exploration assignment on government makeup around Confederation.  Students will get tomorrow to finish this in class.
      Law 30
      • Handout on Defences.  Students are to do: questions 1-2 (page 155), Focus 2-5 (page 159), & Apply 1-2 (page 159).  These will be due for verbal discussion tomorrow in class.
      • Also there will be a small quiz on Thursday Nov. 25th.
      Psych 20
      • Beginning to work on their Cultural presentations today.
