History 30 (Band)
  • Work period on their Museum assignment.  Due date for this assignment is Nov. 17th.
Econ 30
  • Watched clips from Canada: A People's History outlining the impact of Loyalists upon Canada's development.  Specific loyalist groups targeted such as United Empire Loyalists, Aboriginal Loyalists (Joseph Brant and the Confederacy) & Black Loyalists.  After-viewing questions are due Monday.
Law 30
  • Went over homework from Tuesday and notes on Assault & Property Crimes.
Psych 20
  • Finished watching Shrek.  The perceptual questions based upon this film are due for Monday.

Econ 30
  • Beginning Chapter 6: Demand, Supply & the Market.  We will be exploring what defines a market, demand, and how to graph a demand curve. 
History 30
  • Going over the note on "The Constitutional Act of 1791".  This important event marks the beginning of political winds of change that will dominate the next 70 years of Canadian history.
Law 30
  • Going over a note on "Offences Against People: Assault".
Psych 20
  • To introduce conceptions & bias we will begin watching "Shrek".  This lesson will be an [entertaining] exploration of how stereotypes influence our perceptions of people.

  • Work period on Museum assignment.

  • Went over homework from yesterday.
History 30
  • Pass in Art Analysis work.
  • Passed out review sheet (New France-Royal Proclamation) for the upcoming test (Nov. 9th).  This review sheet is to be passed in the day of the test for bonus marks towards the students' overall test mark.
Law 30
  • Finish watching "Liar Liar" from last Thursday.  Media exploration of the stereotypes of lawyers in modern society.
Psych 20
  • Introduction of perceptions in the movies.  Specifically focused on the movie Shrek and how it is anti-stereotypical.

Econ 30
  • Have the students go over on the board the characteristics of and the pros and cons of co-operatives/public enterprises.
  • When done have the students work on the following questions from their textbook: Pg 73 (1-6) & Pg 75-76 (1 a-c, 2 a-d).  Make sure they are done for discussion tomorrow.
History 30
  • Textbook work. They are working on their art analysis on General Wolfe/Montcalm from page 175 in the textbook. Due tomorrow.
Law 30
  • Go over note on Property Crimes. Where possible if you can add anything to further their understanding please do so.
  • Make sure they are done their questions from yesterday for discussion tomorrow. If they need a copy of the reading there should be extras on one of the front desks in my room.
Psych 20
  • Test today on the Biology of Behaviour.

  • Informational handout (passed out) merging together the Royal Proclamation, Quebec Act & the American Revolution, and their respective impact on Canadian development.

  • Reading on Homicides & Assaults.  Questions due for verbal discussion tomorrow.
Psych 20
  • Study period for Unit Test tomorrow on the Biology of Behaviour.
  • 15-20 Multiple Choice; 4 Matching; 3 Short Answer; 2 Case Studies & 1 Diagram/Fill in the Blank
